The wait for Sex and the City 2 was finally over last weekend when it reached the silver screen on Friday.
We must be patient folk here at WhatSheWears.ie as we had to wait an extra day as we were hosting the Best Dressed Competition at the SATC2 Charity Screening in aid of National Breast Cancer Research.
Earlier in the week, Two lucky WhatSheWears.ie readers won tickets to the event and went on to pre event the girls enjoy VIP hair treatments at Dylan Bradshaw’s salon in South William Street, Dublin 2. No better man to get the girls ready for the night – Dylan has styled all the stars and you will look the part on the night to mingle with the celebs:
The glamorous evening kicked off in the Gresham hotel where attendees arrived dressed to kill.
On the night the Best Dressed winner was Nicola Hayes who’s lilac and pink outfit was picture perfect and accessorised in true Sex and the City style. She won a fabulous pair of Steve Madden shoes from Cocobelle, Royal Hibernian Way, Dublin 2.
Nicola told us that her lilac dress was from Debenhams, her pink belt and corsage were from Penneys, pink shoes from LK Bennett shoes and to round it all off in style, a pink, patent Louis Vuitton bag.
Attendees also had a chance to enter to win a hat on the night, custom made by the Philip Treacy trained milliner, Martha Lynn.
After viewing the movie in The Savoy cinema, the whole picture theatre headed for Krystle night club to rock the night away, dancing around our handbags like true girlfriends do.
What she ate: canapés
What she drank: Cosmopolitans, as if we were Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda
What she wore: Everything from cookie Carrie couture to vintage dresses to demure and even sexy slinky numbers.
