If any of you were following WhatSheWears on Twitter and Facebook yesterday, you’ll know that I was talent spotting at The Mount Juliet and Irish Tatler Most Stylish Lady competition at Leopardstown Races Christmas Festival. What a great way to blow off the cobwebs after a Christmas spent indoors!
I’m pictured above left with fashion designer Heidi Higgins who was one of the Most Stylish Lady judges yesterday alongside milliner Mark T Burke.
I wore a hat by Aisling Ahern. I’ve been following this young milliner’s work for the past year and love her designs. She won best hat at the 2012 Galway Races and also scooped the award for Millinery Designer of the Year 2012 at the Irish Fashion Innovation awards. To top off a great year, she won Brendan Courtney’s Who Wants to be a Milliner competition with the result that her hats are now stocked in Arnotts.
My coat is by Almost Famous which I picked up in last year’s January Sales in Divine boutique, Malahide and my dress is from Next.
My lipstick is Soap and Glory’s Powdercoat Matte lipstick (€12.50) in blush pink which is just what I needed yesterday – a subtle matte lippie.

Great day, it blew the cobwebs off the PrincessPalles team for sure. The style was incredible yesterday. Vintage really carried the theme for the day I think.

Thanks AnnMarie – I loved the hat so built the outfit around it!
