We know we’ve harped on about the anticipation of the arrival of and finally the landing of cool Parisian label The Kooples to Ireland for some months now.

The label, which was founded by French brothers Alexandre, Lauren and Raphael Elicha, is all about Parisian chic seasoned with Anglomaniac style.

Their quirky androgynous-clad couple advertising has graced the glossy Grazia for months now, not to mention the hip music that goes with them, so we are uber excited to bring you our favourite looks from their awesome AW11 collection.

Inspired by the codes of rock music but with its own signature traits, it’s a sexy take on androgynous style combining traditional tailoring with a modern, urban twist; think sheepskins reversed with the soft wool exposed; the neck of jacket flaunting its flannel lining and the collar of a coat inlaid with velvet and leather trimmings.

The Kooples autumn winter 11 collection nods to the 30s and 80s and is defined by clean cut, slim fitting staples such as suits, jackets, coats and shirts, all carefully designed for men and women.

You’ll find military elegance, revisited flight jackets, cardigans, dresses for iconic women, British styled “Crombie” coats, and the perfect three piece suit.
