Street Style: Electric Picnic 2011

From ’90s backpacks to on-trend fluorescents, this week we saw it all while style spotting at Electric Picnic. Check out our three Festival Fashion favourites below.

Pictured left to right:

Look 1

What: We’ve got a soft spot for anything metallic. While Laura’s blingin’ vintage dress and gold medallion look party ready, her black palette and backpack  keep it festival appropriate

She: Laura

Wears: Dress (vintage shop in Temple Bar), hat (Penneys), sunglasses (Urban Outfitters)

Look 2

What: A breadth of fresh style air amongst a sea of fake tan and cut off shorts, this lady’s street style stood out most for us at Electric Picnic

She: Sinh

Wears: Black knit poncho (Zara), wellies (Hunter), dress (thrift store in USA), hat (from a hat lender in the USA), leggings (Urban Outfitters), sunglasses (Dita)

Look 3

What: Correct us if we’re wrong, but stylish men at Irish festivals are hard to come by, so when we spotted this chap’s brights and eclectic clothes mash up, we simply had to feature him

He: Barry

Wears: Pink jeans (Topman), pink jacket (American Apparel), shirt (Eager Beaver thrift store, Temple Bar), bow tie (Topman online)

Do the outfits have your stamp of approval?

A special thanks to our style spotter Lorraine Cronin, who brought us these pics from Electric Picnic 2011.
