Beauty: Sensitive Skin Solutions

Hot and sticky weather can leave skin majorly unhappy, and let’s face it (all puns aside), a skin breakout is the last thing we have in mind to accompany us on our annual holiday!

Not only that but a change in climate and growing older both cause changes in skin type too, as does a change in diet and hormone imbalances.

Don’t sweat it though, as we’ve found you a brilliant skin secret.

Trilogy, a New Zealand brand renowned for its natural approach, has come up with a sensitive skin range of gentle products that soothe and hydrate irrated skin.

Sensitive Skin is fragrance free, alcohol free and has been dermatologically tested on sensitive skin, and contains amongst other pure ingredients; Chamomile, spring water and Calendula, which all scream “soothe me”.

Their cleanser (€25.95, 150ml) and Very Gentle Moisturising Cream (€29.95, 50ml) are used as part of a skincare routine for sensitive types whereas the Very Gentle Calming Fluid (€29.95,30ml) does exactly that and can be used either alone as a light moisturiser, or before the mosturiser for added comfort.

Don’t have sensitive skin?  Then use the range as “time out” from your usual product. We’re stocking up on this now.

Trilogy is available from Arnotts in Dublin, select pharmacies and health stores nationwide including Nourish, Unicarepharmacy and www.safiaorganics.ie.
