Finally, Rihanna’s long awaiting clothes collection for River Island was revealed this weekend at London Fashion week. Have a look at the gallery below and see what you think!
We caught a glimpse of Rihanna’s long-awaited River Island collection in December when the songstress wore a slouchy navy hooded jumpsuit with silver buttons out and about in LA.
The capsule collection, designed by Rihanna in collaboration with River Island and her costume designer Adam Selman, will reflect the star’s personal style with items that she feels are missing from her own wardrobe.
Speaking about the capsule line, ‘I’ve wanted to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special’, she gushed.
Update January 17th 2013 : Rihanna for River Island will launch with a catwalk show at London Fashion Week at an invite only event on February 16th.
“Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me,” said Rihanna. ” I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can’t wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!”
Availability: The line will be in selected River Island stores and on-line on Tuesday 5th Marchand exclusively in the United States and Japan at Opening Ceremony. Prices start from €25
