A key trend for autumn winter 12 at Balmain and Miu Miu is the print trousers and the look was more evident than ever last week at the Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama collaboration launch in Selfridges, London where we saw plenty of ways to wear print pants.
As part of a print trouser suit
Pyjama style suits are all the rage with Laura Baily and Pixie Geldof embracing the Yayoi Kusama polka dot pattern on their trouser suits, which will be the signature print of collaboration with Louis Vuitton on leather handbags, ready-to-wear, travel bags, shoes and accessories.
As eveningwear
If the print trouser suit is too much for you, try a print trouser paired with a tux jacket for an alternative evening look, as seen here on Kim Hersov, who swapped her print trousers for print shorts instead.
Wide-leg palazzos, slim fit or cigarette trouser styles are great options while the prints available come in everything from paisley to floral.
Day time chic
An easy way to wear the trend is for a daytime look. Wear with a menswear inspired shirt and heels now and come winter, swap the shirt for a slim fitting jumper/polo neck and boots.
Californian blogger, Annabelle Fleur shows us how to rock this look in her ASOS print trousers, teamed with a plain shirt and heels (both Zara).
If shopping online is not your bag then try Warehouse who have some great cigarette print trousers in-store right now (€65).
