Top 5: Pointed Court Shoes

The pointed court shoe is the shoe to be seen in for anything these days, be it work, weddings or a night out.

Gone are the platform versions worn by many a celeb – the chic choice is a single soled shoe, as championed by Manolo Blahnik who has never ventured into platform territory with his creations.

Not all of us can afford Manolos so,  luckily there are lots of single soled court shoes that won’t break the bank in the shops right now.

Style tips

Look for single sole and pointed shoes.

An almond shape or cut out at the side pointed court are super flattering.

Zara do a great shape that is really flattering of foot (see the red Zara shoes pictured above).

Look out for ‘low-cut vamp’ styles – again, these show off your feet fabulously!

Opt for leather shoes and they will be kinder to your feet and last you for years.

Here are our top 5 (pictured clockwise from bottom left):

Black Aldo Bonomi Mid-low heel pointed court, €85

Zara red high heel vamp shoe , €79.95

Christian Louboutin ‘Paulina’ in phython print €795

Manolo Blahnik, BB Point-Toe Metallic Pump, €525

LK Bennett ‘Flora’ Patent Leather Point Toe Court Shoe, €295
