Peter O’Brien launched his third Autumn Winter collection for Arnotts on Tuesday last. The capsule collection of 28 styles, showed off Peter’s signature style as five models paraded around a square black catwalk and showcased this seasons looks accompanied by the Carolan string quartet.
In attendance on the night were Lorraine Keane, Pamela Flood, Blanaid Ni Choffaigh, Eilis Boyle, Brendan Courtney, Fiona Foy Holland, Deborah Veale, Ken Boylan Clodagh McKenna, Sarah McDonnell, Sonya Lennon, Arnotts CEO Nigel Blow, Arnotts Fashion Director Deirdre Devaney, Glenda Gilson, Maria Tecce and Claudia Carroll.
Peter O’Brien said “This third collection for Arnotts has been fun to work on as we have widened our fabric selection to include Donegal tweed from Magee and a super luxe jersey from the masters of jersey, Jackytex. The biggest change in silhouette is our full skirted look which we have done in tweed, satin and to avoid being to sugary, dresses in wool serge.”
Shoppers on the night were first to test the Gesaky Interactive Mirror. Hailed as a shoppers dream gadget, the mirror comes equipped with three full length panel mirrors that display images and details from the collection along with the suggested pieces that will finish off a full outfit. When models or customers stood in front of the mirror, they were able to see the entire outfit details and prices along with suggested items from Peter’s collection that could be matched to this outfit. Genius!
