I love the bright colours around at the mo’ and really want to try the trend. How does a woman in her thirties wear these colours without looking silly? I usually go for a classic look. NC, 32. Naas.

The spring summer trend at Jil Sander, Fendi and Prada were all gloriously colourful and there are plenty of ways to work this look into your own wardrobe. A simple way to try this look is with an accessory. That could be a necklace, belt or colourful pair of shoes. You can still wear your classic look and the vibrant accessory merely adds a touch of on-trend chic.

If you’re really keen to embrace spring brights, our tip is to wear only one colourful piece at a time while keeping the rest of your outfit neutral (by that I mean with beige, black, grey or white basics).
