Ladies, while you may have gotten away with a mac, blazer or lightweight jacket in October, it’s time to stop kidding yourself and get out your winter coat.
And who better to inspire today’s coat-centric look, than Kate Middleton, who, on a recently trip to Copenhagen, donned a red LK Bennett coat.
She paired it with a simple pair of brown suede knee highs, a patent belt, and a clutch for an overall winter chic look that is very in keeping with her classic style.
We have found the look for less with this red belted coat from Penney’s/Primark (€40) – a collarless coat is one of this seasons must have, according to those in the know. In fact we liked the coat so much, we bought it ourselves!
And just like Kate’s, the Penney’s coat is single breasted, has that dinky shoulder detail and is belted– which is a key detail to accentuate the waist. Replace the brown belt with a red patent one.
