Look for Less: Kate Middleton War Horse Premier

As Kate Middleton turns 30 today, in her final look as a twenty something, she wore a beautiful Alice Temperley dress to the War Horse premier in London last night.

The Alice Temperley dress features black lace overlay over cream – a look that’s got sophistication written all over it from a British designer that is one of Kate’s favourites. It reminds us of Kate’s wedding dress and she accessorised the look with a black velvet clutch with an oversized bow by Mascaró.

Of course, there is an affordable alternative to get the Duchess of Cambridge’s look.  For example, the RI by Roksanda Ilincic’s at Debenhams gown (€450, pictured) is a much thriftier way to get a lacy look.

It even comes in a knee length version (€375) which, we think, is more wearable than a full length gown (not all of us have red carpet events to attend!).

The RI by Roksanda Ilincic designer collaboration, which hit Debenhams just in time for autumn winter, combines Ilincic’s signature fluid draping with soft tailoring to create relaxed contemporary elegance.

Her mainline collection boasts a long list of high profile fans including Michelle Obama who wore one of her dresses on the presidential visit to the UK last year.
