Last week we popped along to the Cliff Townhouse to meet fashion designer John Rocha who has teamed up with Specsavers to unveil his first collection of designer frames.
Part of the designers at Specsavers stable, the John Rocha range includes 13 contemporary designs to suit the modern woman. Frames come in petrol blue, indigo, purple and berry red tones in a combination of metal and acetate to make the glasses a true fashion statement.
Our favourites are a pair of burgundy frames (ref ref: 25634877), which we wore in this picture above with John.
Each frame features subtle “John Rocha” branding on one side and a criss cross or lace pattern on the other, just like the patterns seen on his crystal.
John, who recently showed his AW13 collection at London Fashion Week, said “I’m so excited about designing glasses. Eyewear is now a desirable fashion accessory; I felt it was really important to create a collection which was wearable yet stylish”.
Availability: €189 in all Specsavers Ireland stores. These glasses are included in the Specsavers two for one offer, where you can choose any two pairs of designer glasses (from the €149-€189 range) and just pay for one. See Specsavers.ie to see the full range.
