Here are WhatSheWears.ie our iPhone is one of the key tools we use all the time for taking photos, tweeting, instagramming and Facebooking.

As it’s an accessory that is never far from reach naturally, we want it to be appropriately “dressed”. For the past few months we’ve been “wearing” a banana print case from Aldo.

And it’s not just us. iPhone cases and covers for mobile phones are as important as handbag and shoes in the accessories stakes.  At fashion week, a novelty iPhone case is the top accessory – and the more outlandish the better.   The fashion industry is showing its sense of humour by embracing the trend for kooky, outlandish covers to slip in to their big handbags.

Here are our pick of the bunch:

Studded iPhone case

And if you’re feeling really creative, you can bling up your phone or iPhone cover yourself by following a tutorial on YouTube. We especially like this turtorial above, to make a studded iPhone cover, as seen on Gossip Girl.

Button & Bow iPhone cover

A new Irish company providing funky accessories is Button & Bow and their iPhone case is handmade with beautiful lace and pearls. Available in mint green, pink or purple.

Bunny iphone case

Super weight fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni of the Blonde Salad got this kooky bunny IPhone case in Japan which you can buy on Etsy or Ebay.

What kind of iPhone or phone cover have you?
