Jimmy Choo launches Donegal Tweed boots

Luxury shoe brand Jimmy Choo teamed up with Donegal Tweed to produce two styles of limited-edition designer boots which were launched at Brown Thomas last week. The first one is the Breidin (€825) and then the Twillen for (€795). Breidin is a cuffed ankle boot and the Twillen is in the shape of a riding boot with a tweed inset.

Well I’m glad to report that I’ve survived my first ever trip to the Galway Races. And what a day it was. The sun shone on Ladies Day and there was no sign of a recession at all with glamorous ladies clamouring in the Champagne tent for Moet at €95 a bottle (the cheaper option was sparkling wine for €75!).
