It’s IFTAS Awards night! We’ll be bringing you the snaps from the 2013 IFTAS red carpet as we get them.
The Irish Film & Television Awards, hosted by Simon Delaney, honoured the finest work from Ireland’s top actors, directors, writers and film makers, with Nominees for this year’s ceremony including Colm Meaney (Hell on Wheels), Chris O’Dowd (Moone Boy), Amy Huberman (Threesome), Jack Reynor (What Richard Did), Martin McCann (Jump), Robert Sheehan (Love/Hate), Colin Farrell (Seven Psychopaths), Oscar winning writer/director Neil Jordan, Ray D’Arcy (How To Beat Depression), Domhnall Gleeson (Anna Karenina), Anne-Marie Duff (Sanctuary), David Wilmot (Shadow Dancer), Gabriel Byrne (Secret State), Michael McElhattan (Death of a Superhero), Brendan O’Carroll (Mrs. Browns Boys), Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Love/Hate), Andrew Scott (Sherlock), Susan Loughnane (Love/Hate), Richard Dormer (Good Vibrations), Carrie Crowley (Rasaí na Gaillimhe), Seána Kerslake (Dollhouse), Gabrielle Reidy (What Richard Did), Charlie Murphy (Love/Hate), Cathy Belton (Roy), Peter Coonan (Love/Hate) among others.
Iftas hair and makeup
There was lots of glamming up to be done and Davey Davey hairdressers were on hand to do stylish updos, curls and plait tresses while MAC were doing make-up backstage.
We spotted Chris O’Dowd’s wife Dawn Porter tweeting a pic of herself getting her makeup done declaring “Glad there is a make up suite for tonight. I look like a monster #jetlagface #thankgodforMac ” !
First up is TV3 Xpose Lisa Cannon in a teal blue dress by Suzanne Neville. Lisa tells us that it’s actually Holly Wiloughby’s dress
Rosanna Davison’s dress is by her good friend Dawn Fitzgerald Atelier (she designed Amy Huberman’s 2012 IFTAS dress), her jewellery is from Loulerie and her hair was done by Brown Sugar.
Caroline Morahan went for vampy lips and a purple dress.
