At the royal wedding, the four bridesmaids, Lady Louise Windsor, The Hon. Margarita Armstrong Jones, Grace Van Cutsem and Eliza Lopes wore ballerina-length, box pleated full dresses made of ivory silk satin gazar, layered over organza, wild silk and generous petticoats. The edges were hand finished with an English lace trim. A wild silk gold sash was tied in a sumptuous bow at the back while beautiful pleated, lace trimmed puff sleeves completed the look

Following her success as the designer of the bridesmaid’s dresses for The Duchess of Cambridge earlier this year, Nicki MacFarlane has launched a new range of ready-to-wear dresses for First Holy Communions, which are available exclusively at Arnotts in Ireland. Nicki will be in the children’s department of Arnotts from 12-4pm on Saturday 28th January to showcase her First Communion collection which is exclusive to Arnotts in Ireland.
