This Christmas I really got into the Christmas Decorations – what with first Christmas in our new house.
If you follow me on Snapchat , you’ll see that I’ve been showing you how to put all the bits together!
I am obsessed with this Christmas table setting above which I saw on HM Home and will be hoping to recreate it on Christmas Day with a navy table cloth and gold vase which I picked up (online from HM Home). Here is my version as a work in progress below. The revelation was faux candles which I’ve put everywhere!

Fresh Christmas garland Aldi, baubles Penneys/Primark, faux candles Lidl, pine cones Aldi, gold candles and candle stick holders H&M Home

Tree branch I found on my Mum’s farm, pearl LED fairy lights are Lidl and pine cones and gold bauble on sticks are Aldi. Makes for a nice alternative Christmas tree look in a vase I thought!

Pine cones are Aldi- I got a bag of them for €2.99 and the fairy lights (battery operated) are Lidl. Vase is my own.

I love these metallic Christmas tree cones from Primark which I added fake candles (from Lidl) to. This sits on my stairs with no fear of the house burning down!

Fairy lights and poinsettias (both from Lidl) complete the look. These are ‘curtain’ fairy lights which I put on the mirror
Pinterest was brilliant for inspiration. You can see my Pinterest interiors ideas boards and buys here.
Hope you like these alternative Christmas decoration ideas. Have you any tips to share or seen any nice pieces?
