With 5 weeks left until D day it’s time to start looking at packing my bag! I am in search of some comfy leisure wear. I’m not one for teddy bear pyjamas so am on the lookout for some plain tops and bottoms. Let me know if you have any hints and tips on where to buy some nice jersey wear for the hospital. It’s proving tricky finding some!
My dress this month, from ASOS maternity, has proven to be versatile and comfy over the Christmas break. Here I am wearing it with a green and black animal print scarf (given as a gift), gold bracelet from Accessorize, H&M leggings and over the knee flat boots from Faith.
Flat boots are a must this late in your pregnancy. It’s a good idea to pick up a pair that you can wear on nights out to replace your heels. I have gotten loads of wear out of this taupe pair with skinny jeans and dresses.
I have also realised that being pregnant in winter means that there are a lot more clothes required! For most, a coat is an investment piece so instead of buying a maternity coat I have been wearing a black wool and cashmere cape coat (borrowed from my Mum). Its gives you plenty of room for the bump and can be worn afterwards too.
So I guess this Bump Watch series is a wrap – will let you know how I get on after D Day!

AnnMarie I also got a reply on twitter about the jersey lounge wear . @cosmofountain said that American Apparel have slim yoga pants with a wide comfy waist band. she bought them a few years ago when she had her baby but they are still there in store. the AA sizes are small but if you go up a size of two they’ll be perfect, then cut off the size label
