If the Cinderella story has taught us anything, it’s that a pair of shoes really can change a girl’s life. Before the summer fully kicks off, be sure to trot yourself down to Buffalo on Exchequer Street or in Arnotts (both in Dublin), to trade in your stuffy winter boots for something a little livelier.
With some gravity-defying stacked wedges, vertiginous floral printed platforms, kitten heels in a kaleidoscope of colours and some very summery sandals, Buffalo have taken the statement summer shoe to exciting new heights.

Through some quirky collaborations and with the addition of some very desirable new labels, this season Buffalo cater to range of different tastes and personalities.
Just launched is the “Buffalo Girl” diffusion line. The collection is very trend led, with a focus on affordability without compromising on style. Think geeky brogues, pretty ballerinas, floral espadrilles and classic cork wedges in pocket-friendly prices.
Also new to the shoe emporium this season is the Defined Formal Collection in collaboration with Marian Footwear. Perfect for the bridesmaid who refuses to be left looking dowdy or the party guest who wants to look demure yet trendy; the line gives formalwear a funky twist. Varying from high covered plateaus with unfinished mesh bows, to nude patent peep toes and flower fronted sling-backs in French navy and taupe. The collection also offers matching handbags for every shoe to give that perfectly polished and smartly styled finish to any ensemble.
Other new additions include a collaboration with young, British footwear designer, Kat Maconie, who brings a vintage jewellery aesthetic to her designs and who’s also doing a line with Whistles.
There are some one off exclusives from Spanish label, Sixty Seven, which include pony skin wedges, deconstructed leather ankle boots with zip details and some other utterly unique styles.
One of our favourite new comers to Buffalo however are the neon-bright, United Nude ankle boots. Innovative yet elegant, the fashion forward footwear brand provides the perfect way to embrace the neon trend in a subtle yet eye-catching way.
