The overall winner was chosen by a judging panel including TV presenter and singer Rachel Stevens, IMAGE Magazine Editor In Chief Melanie Morris, Irish Independent Fashion Editor Bairbre Power, Breda McLoughlin representing Dubai Duty Free and James Amos representing Boodles.
Eva walked away with a luxury trip to Dubai, courtesy of Dubai Duty Free and staying in the group’s own 5 Star Hotel, The Jumeirah Creekside plus €1,000 to spend as well as return flights. Also included in this amazing prize is an elegant Boodles diamond pendent from their chic “Roulette” collection and an overnight stay at the luxurious Marker Hotel in Dublin in addition to a luxury Ladurée hamper which includes an Afternoon Tea for two at their flagship store and a Jennifer Wrynne Boutique voucher worth €500.
Commenting on her win, Eva said “I gave birth to my first child 10 weeks ago, a baby boy called Tristan and this is our first family outing. I bought the dress when I was eight months pregnant and only tried it on this morning! I’m thrilled to be chosen as the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby’s Most Stylish Lady at The Curragh. I’m already planning my trip to Dubai, wearing my chic new Boodles pendant and checking to The Marker hotel and enjoying all the Ladurée treats. It’s such an incredible prize and I’m very grateful to the Judges for choosing me.”
On helping choose the winner Rachel Stevens said “The Judges and I loved seeing so many stylish women out today at The Curragh. I discovered some great new talented Irish designers and milliners so a big thanks to today’s attendees who showcased the very best of Irish style.” Rachel was wearing Boodles jewellery with a navy Self-Portrait dress and a headpiece by Irish milliner Laura Kinsella.
