If you’re headed to a music festival this summer, you’re gonna want to look cool. Festival style is one thing but makeup can be a real way to experiment, stand out and go wild.
To get you started, we’ve identified the exact makeup looks gracing a few of our favourite tastemakers at this weekend’s V Festival.
Millie Mackintosh
Made in Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh stuck to her polished makeup look for the V Festival. This starts with perfectly prepped skin – MAC’s Charged Water Cleanser, Strobe Cream and Prep + Prime Skin Visage and was followed by setting the perfect base with Pro Longwear Concealer and Mineralize Loose Powder.
Millie’s is a big fan of blusher and uses M.A.C’s Dainty Mineralize Blush and her lippie is M∙A∙C Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15 in Petting Pink, lined with with Dervish lip pencil.
Her hazel eyes were emphasised with a brown eyeshadows Mac Cork and Brule, with a hint of Powersurge Eye Kohl and a slick of Blacktrack Fluidline.
Rita Ora
Rita Ora opted for her signature pillar box red lip.
Cher Webb, the M.A.C Pro makeup artist, who with the rest of her team decamped at the Essex festival to keep a host of top celebrities and performers looking good from dusk until dawn, created Rita’s look says; “Rita is renowned for her striking red lips I mixed a combination of M.A.C classic lipstick Ruby Woo with Dare You and shaped and defined the lip with M.A.C Brick Lip pencil.Rita wanted to go for a richer, deeper red.
MAC Blot Powder was used on the t-zone to set the makeup, M.AC Harmony Powder Blush was applied to the apples of the cheeks and MAC Pro Sculpting Powder in Sculpt was used to contour the face.”
Pixie Lott
Pixie Lott went for a neutral lip, clean fresh face and cat eyes.
To get Pixie’s nude lip look, use MAC’s Prep + Prime Lip, followed by outlining our lips with “Spice” Lip Pencil and filling in with MAC Boy Bait Cremesheen Lipglass.
Pixie’s statement eyeliner was achieved thanks to Mac’s Feline Eye Liner and for the natural face look, only two products were used: Mineralize Loose Powder in Medium and Studio Finish Concelaer in NC20, topped up with a dab of Matte Bronzer on her cheeks. Before hitting the stage, Pixie even added a creative flower design to her legs.
Will you be trying any of these makeup looks for festivals?
