Each season has a defining scarf that for the past few years has been dominated by Louis Vuitton (who can forget the leopard print?).
However, there’s a new scarf in town and it’s already been adopted by celebrities such as Fearne Cotton, Gemma Arterton (both pictured) and Trinny Woodall.
I sense the arrival of the new “IT” scarf…Fearne’s blue and black tiger striped scarf is from Alice by Temperley (€58, Harvey Nichols, Dundrum Town Centre) – a new diffusion collection with an affordable price tag (€58 to €580).
I for one welcome the new “Alice” collection as, although I adore Temperley London, (her main collection which is sold in Costume and Brown Thomas), I simply can’t afford the prices, so this is my chance to be able to don the label!
In saying that I really tried once – in the quest for finding “THE wedding dress”, I made the trek to London to try on some of the Temperley wedding dresses once – (a time when I could’ve justified the price tag!), but the flowiness of their wedding dresses just didn’t suit me. I am no Mila Jovovich after all – (she wore Temperley for her wedding last summer).
Also pictured here is the Alice by Temperley Audrey Trench Coat €440 and Mini Mimi Stripe Dress €180.

Love leopard print and anything camouflage, it really can be trendy if put together right.
