London Fashion week is all about the young and creative expressing themselves. Ahead of the pack is Alexa Chung. The British model-turned-TV presenter has an individualistic and attentive style which we at whatshewears.ie greatly admire. She mixes colours, high street, designer, and vintage and greatly supports British labels with an annual pilgrimage to London Fashion Week. Here’s where we saw her in the front row.
A label once associated with middle aged English women, Jaeger has experienced a true revival. Worn by Alexa Chung who is pictured here in the front row of Jaeger Autumn Winter 2009, the collection features fake fur skirts which caused quite a stir.
So where can you buy Jaeger in Ireland? Jaeger has just opened at Kildare Village where you can get 60% off retail prices. Just think of all that designer indulgence without the designer price tag!
Alexa Chung also attended the Twenty8Twelve fashion show at London Fashion Week a/w 2009, which overall attracted a very cool crowd (Matthew Williamson, Roisin Murphy and Erin O’Connor to name but a few). The label, which is backed by Pepe, was founded by Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah and closed this show with this sequined green number in jade green – very Balmain A/W 2009 we think!
Check out Alexa Chung’s statement ring, shown here in both photos of her.
The detail of the moment is all about bows so Alexa is bang on trend with this chain handle day bag by Luella (£950 GBP).
“Nude” or neutral colours are also hot at the moment, and combined with her military jacket, her white and cream combo, her look has been instantly adapted from runway to front row.Tweet
